If your partner was friends with an ex, would you view them as a threat to your relationship?

At first I found them as a threat, then I realized that I’m still friend with my exs and he doesn’t give a shit so I had to stop being hypocritical. Sometimes I get in my feelings about it but just communicating and understanding there are boundaries is helpful. Is it okay to talk to them? Sure. Are you both going out for dinner together to catch up? That might be a different story. But it’s not black in white, what might be acceptable for me, might not be for you. Just realized that your partner chose you in the end ;)

My boyfriend works with his ex and it can make me insecure at times - but he’s being very transparent and open about everything that is going on between them, which helps a lot in terms of calming down my anxiety about the whole thing.

Depends on her reaction after telling her I realized she was friends with my ex and why we broke up, as well as wether or not my ex and I were friends at the time. (I’d want my partner to know either way.)
