What would you do? If your friends all thought your partner is a horrible person, but you love them?

I'd ask them why they think that, Ultimately, my opinion is the only one that counts, though

I wouldn't care. I don't worry about my friends. I know my friends will always be right there when they need me. My family is a different matter. If my family thought she was a horrible person that'd give me pause. Because my family is wonderful. And if she can't get along with them she either IS a horrible person or she has a deep character flaw that needs addressing.
