How do I find out if he has feelings/crush on me?

It's been 6 years since I haven't been in a relationship with any guy, just because I couldn't find the right person who could make my heart flutter, but just recently a guy pinged me on instagram and we immediately hit it off, everytime we text each other my heartbeat gets faster, I think i do have feelings for him and he as well but we just haven't admitted that yet.. how do I find out if he's really interested in me?
