What are some signs that one is not worth it?

What are some signs or points that prove that one is not worth the effort or affection of others? What are the signs that people are better off without us in their lives?

Are you a net taker or a net giver?
Do you make them feel better about themselves?

Because i feel like i add nothing to their lives. Anything I can do, there's tons of others who could do the same for them, perhaps even better.

Maybe you should sit down 121 with one or two of them and ask them what they honestly think of you. If they truly value you, perhaps they'll explain it to you. If they don't, you know you don't need to keep trying.

I don't mean what makes them not worth my efforts.
I meant what makes me not worth their time.

Reverse it. Do you value people's time? Do you value people's attention?
Are you a considerate and courtesy person?
If you are a courtesy person to a T, you will be worth it to somebody. Courtesy is such a good quality to have but so few have it. So very few have it. But with courtesy you also have to have courtesy for yourself. Boundaries.

By what measurement? Surely not your results. Most people are losing in life and so if "most people" don't accept and find you worth it than don't worry because they are losing anyway. They don't know anything. There are guys in and out of prison that get more girls than many guys of sound character... Most people are in harmony with losing. You have to reason with yourself. Do you like you? That is what matters most.
