What on earth I did to get distrusted?

I just recenty overheard a conversation my boyfriend had with his friend. Apparently he's been testing me all along (for the entire 2 years we've been together) and even had his friend purposely asking me out on a date to see if I would cheat.

I obviously told my boyfriend immediately (while being unaware I was being set up) and he was playing dumb all along. Apparently I wasn't the only woman he tested but supposedly the only one that passed.

It makes me feel bad in return. You know when they say if there is no trust there is no relationship. That makes me feel like he doesn't trust me at all.
