Why are women golddiggers more than men?

Fact is that women tend to golddig far more than men.

So why is that?

Women have a harder time earning money because most industries favour masculine potential and skills so they are more reliant on the income of their partners while a guy does not even need a girl with a job if he is capable enough. But calling that gold digging is not totally right. My female family members care about money but would not date a guy wth money if he was rude or cruel. Most of my female friends want a guy who makes what they do, he does not have to make 80 times more.

Men are expected to be self sufficient, there's no support network (normally), and they grow up knowing this (or finding out for themselves).

This is not true for women. Even the strong and empowered ones. And they grow up knowing this.

Because they can. Wait another 20 years when women have more advanced degrees and most of the higher earners are women, and you will see a lot more dudes who are gold diggers.
