Is it suspicious behavior for her to follow her old ex at a time like now?

My friend's friend recently followed her old ex from 16 years ago. Not sure if this is a coincidence or not, but that ex officially became single 2 months before she followed him when his divorce was finalized and has liked a recent post of his. 2 years before that she mentioned that she "definitely" did not talk to that ex anymore and didn't follow him even though she knew he had social media and it was true, based off other sources my friend had. I always got the impression that she had a secret soft spot for that ex based off what my friend had told me and the circumstances (it didn't end due to personality incompatibility) they were in, and how she once had a look of nostalgia when he was brought up in a convo vs how she wouldn't mention her husband that much and had a sorta lack of enthusiasm when talking about him but would contribute to the convo when her ex was mentioned. She doesn't follow any other exes and rarely posts about her husband.. yet constantly posts stuff about her life (& it's not that her husband doesn't like his picture taken) Is this suspicious behavior? does it look like she could still be secretly hung up on her ex?
