So my boyfriend ran into an old friend from high school at the store the other day. I was not with him, but he told me about this. She's like two years older than him and I think her mom used to be friends with his mom. Well they got to talking and she's not doing super well so she sat in his car outside of the store and talked to him and borrowed his phone charger so she could call someone for a ride home. I was cool with this, but apparently they exchanged numbers? And she texted him for a ride one day but he didn't respond to the message in time so it didn't happen. And then, I saw where he tried to text her on Facebook but they aren't friends on Facebook, so the message didn't go through. He said, "hey you can try to get a hold of me on here." But last night, her name wasn't in his recently contacted on facebook messenger. In fact, the message that he had previously sent to her was gone too. It was like he never messaged her. Did he delete the messenger chat? Should I be concerned about this behavior? I'm the jealous type so I don't trust my own emotions when it comes to this..
Is this a sign that he's been talking to her? I think he may have deleted her messenger chat?

I haven't raised any issues with him about this. I don't want to start a fight over nothing. But it's weird that he had messaged her on Facebook one night, and now there's not any messages in their chat, not even the one he sent from the other night..
