My girlfriend lives with her family in another state and they just had tornados and flooding. So there are road closures.

I sent her a message in the morning saying good morning and also a screen shot that shows the road closures. And told her which direction to drive if she need to go somewhere.

her reply was “lol trust me, I’ll be ok, I’ve been through this so many times”

was I being too annoying?

Uh, not at all. What is remotely annoying about that? I think that you are way overthinking it, as well as her response. You were doing nothing more than being a concerned boyfriend. Simply giving her some information that might be helpful is not annoying at all, regardless of how many times she has been through it.

I also don't think she was annoyed. If anything, I see her message back as reassurance that she has dealt with this before and she will be okay. I don't think you were wrong to send that message.

That can be scary and when you aren't together, you want to know how people are doing that you are close with and give any sort of support you can. That is completely natural reaction.

So, if you think you were wrong or annoying, you weren't. I don't get the feeling that she will think that either. If anything, it seems you both were indicating to each other your concerns and letting each other know things are going to be okay.
