Ok guys, what makes you want to marry a woman?

There is no shortage of questions and comments from guys here talking about how bad modern women are and how bad marriage is for men now. I get it, a lot of women are shit and the divorce rate is really high and most of them are because the woman divorces the man.

I think that sucks for you guys but there are still a lot of successful marriages and still a lot of guys getting married, so what makes you decide it's ok for you to marry a particular woman? What does she offer that makes you willing to take the risk anyway? What makes one woman special enough to go for it?

I'm looking for honest and specific answers, like specific things about her that make her different. What does she need to have to make you WANT to commit to her? What things about a woman would make you NOT want to marry her?

Please no hate or nastiness because I will delete it.

To those willing to offer honest, genuine advice, thank you in advance. Women are welcome to answer too, but I'm really looking for the men's perspective most.

1. In general the average man marrying right now in 2022 is a simp that will have his wife cheat or divorce him eventually. So do not gauge your relationship on other people's. Yes many marry and most divorce. So unless you want to be like them first step, ignore everyone else.

2. Marriage is more expensive (not money per se, money is part of it but time effort money opportunity cost, risk, many factors) for men than ever before. What that means is a woman needs to be a better bet than ever before, more valuable (not money per se) than ever before to make it worthwhile to a normal functional man (not talking about simps losers desperate men) to commit to her. Yet simultaneously the marketplace of women has the lowest average quality than ever before.

So you're generally seeing 99% of marriages are ultra low quality pairings. It's a fat druggie who is desperate marrying a fat cheater. Shit like that. And honestly these meetings of lowest common denominator marriages are often the ones that work. The "look past my fucked up behavior and I'll look past yours" as long as neither seeks to improve because only then they fail.

3. The most simple direct answer is be qualified in the duties and expectations of a "wife" to be made a wife (by a normal functional man). What are these things? Typically fertility, sex, innocence, cooking, cleaning, submissive, pleasant, child rearing. This is also why many women are not getting married because these things are rare for women to be like these days.

4. That being said, women also need to dip as low as they possibly can allow themselves to gain marriage. The top men will date women but not marry. The market is super skewed. For example an above average catch of a man can demand no marriage and women will still line up to be in a serious relationship with him. If you demand marriage you automatically have no chance. So why would that man marry you when he can be with a woman just as good who will accept not getting married? You need to think about how you can be better than the other options out there and then choose a man who is willing to marry.

5. The ultimate secret is to trade virginity for commitment. Now this doesn't help if you don't have it to offer however understanding how this works will give you more insight into how getting a quality man to commit works. I'm not saying you cannot get marriage without being a Virgin, however this is generally the ultimate play because it's guaranteed to work. I can tell you there are so many women out here willing to date marry carry a child have nsa sex and any combination of these things. So virginity is the only way to be the best of the best. "Yeah she cooks and I cook but I'm also a Virgin and she's not and if you want to change that commit to me."

6. I see two things happening in the near future. I see women working and with assets using said assets to secure marriage but generally to broke men. I see this changing to be more transactional based going forward, where straight up dowery will be used to secure marriage. I also see a near future of non state sanctioned polygyny, one man multiple women generally set up with the male as a dominant patriarch.

Since women as a whole are extremely low value, no one woman can satisfy a high quality man's need to have marriage be valuable to him so it will take either more money or more women to make men consider commitment in the future. (I am already living this lifestyle at the cutting edge of the trend so I see it happen in real time. I have 2 gfs neither will I marry and when I date women they typically will pay or provide some sort of service to me to earn time or attention from me. For example pay for our dates or clean my house.) As part of this trend we will see more and more men of the 'have not' variety who get zero sex relationships or attention from women so it's not all fun and games for men as a whole either. What would return some normalcy to the situation would be to either limit women's control in marriage or limit men's responsibility in marriage or some combination of the two in terms of legal enforcement however the current trend is to give women more control and to increase men's responsibility, making marriage a shittier and shittier deal going forward.

So to sum everything up, you need to be an EXCELLENT woman or you need to date LOWER desired men, or BOTH.

I would feel great chemistry with the woman AND she could be one of my best friends at the same time. She wouldn’t be judgmental, materialistic, and so on.

We would enjoy each other’s company immensely beyond just the chemistry aspect, and there would be strong mutual respect and trust, as well as a strong willingness to work through our own issues. We’re all imperfect humans and all have them, after all.

However, she wouldn’t be focused on The Relationship as an end goal in and of itself. To me, that would scream “I’m desperate and just need A Man to Be Married.” and I’d lose interest. Any relationship would grow organically, over time, not feel rushed or pressured.
