I have a similar situation right now with my female friend. She's in her feelings because she said something rude and I threw it back at her which made her realize how rude she was. But she's trying to use a whole other part of the discussion to make herself seem right and not have to acknowledge how she was an ass. I've just left her alone "for awhile" like she wanted. No problem for me. I'm not going to reach out or stop by her place or anything. She has to be the one to do the work.
