Why do some long distance relationships fail?

Some don't fail - 99% of them fail! In a nutshell, almost all LDR's are illusions that occupy your time with a fantasy that won't become real because neither party is truly willing to make it real. They are like paper in fire - a quick, intense burn and then ashes, even if it takes a year or so. You don't truly know anything about whether or not you'll be compatible to live with and love someone until you spend real time with them. Unless of course, you believe in arranged marriages and are forced to!

Distance is hard on relationships.

You start spending more time with others and bonding with them. Women get hit on and they're starved for human touch and attention. She can also cheat on you the whole time and you wouldn't have a clue. Then she'll start pushing you away.

i'm also in a long distance relationship, and it's really hard but we facetime a lot, and we also do what we call daily videos where we basically record ourselves talking about our day, and we always end it by saying that we miss the other person and that we love them. I don't know those are just some ideas i hate long distance relationships tho.

Ya can't... sooo if you can't do that, the relationship is gonna get weak and then snap like string.

All talk, no action, leads to boredom eventually.

People especially young or inexperienced people vastly underestimate how important physically being with your partner is.
