How did you introduce your partner to your parents for the first time?

I just got into my first relationship. I am kind of nervous about telling my parents. I mean they will be glad but i dont know how to do it, how soon and stuff.

They already knew him because we were both in the same group of friends. Once he started wanting to date, though, I had him over pretty early to make sure he would fit in with them well.
