Is it hard finding a man that will date separately (I'm not moving in with you)?

I guess I'll be back in the dating world soon. I haven't been in a relationship for a while and I'm missing it now.

However, while I'm just dating I want to date separately. This mean I'll continue living in my own house and he lives in his own place. I don't want to move in with him and neither vice-versa. Maybe a sleepover for 2 days at most but living together, NOPE.

Is it hard finding a man that will agree to just dating separately? It seems that everyone is into living together. I don't want to.

I'll be straight forward.
I don't want to then become too attached to him and then think it's going to be followed by a proposal. I've seen this happening too much. I'm not falling for it.

Why would a live-in boyfriend be my family? He's not just my boyfriend whom I only have a verbal agreement to just be with him, nothing else.

A long term boyfriend is the same as a husband, just like a long term girlfriend is the same as a wife. At least that is how I view it. I would treat them the same and have the same expectations of them.

No matter how long you date someone, you won't really know them until you live together. Getting married before living together is a huge mistake.

No it's not to me. My parents share assets, both names are under the title of the house, they're on the same health insurance, have a joint bank account and all vehicles on under their names.
If he moves in with me, he ain't getting nothing under his name. Same vice-versa. If a boyfriend calls me ''my wife'' I'm laughing.

Cuddles are life so I'm very fast to wanting to be with them 24/7 so we can cuddle every night. So to me that wouldn't be great.

Waste of time for me would be living in with a boyfriend for years (calling my boyfriend my family, lol) and then risk becoming too attached to him and perhaps wait for a proposal I'll never get. I've already heard of this happening to many young women my age; the women get attached so much they think we're steps closer to being engaged meanwhile the man is clueless is happy with the great sex, happy with how things are going, happy with just living together. lol

All I know is that living together makes people take too longer in those relationships and the woman ends up getting attached more and thinking it's going to lead to engagement.
I just don't see the point of cooking and cleaning for a boyfriend. Why? If there is always one foot out the door any time... he or I can walk away easily at any time.

Just gonna tell you now most marriages end in divorce so if you have an ideology they cannot just walk away from that they do all the time so makes zero difference.

And some don't break up after been years together when unmarried. It's the same either way really. Unless one is religious it don't really make a difference but even the so called religious be unfaithful.

Oh it makes a difference. If he's just my boyfriend, there is just a verbal agreement to be exclusive. My parents on the other hand have a legal agreement, share assets, both of their names on the name, their names on the title of vehicles, same health insurance, etc. They didn't have enough money for an elegant, traditional marriage so they got married in a courthouse. It doesn't have to always be at church.

And yet both can easily walk away if they want to. If you already trusted and loved your partner you wouldn't worry about such things. So I would consider just finding someone you trust and been happy with them rather than what may happen.

I can understand why me personally I wouldn't be prepared to marry a women I have not lived with for some period of time as I feel I would need to see how we interacted before deciding to marry so in your case its simply about searching I guess
