Me (M20) and my girlfriend (F20) have been dating for about 6 months now. This is my very first relationship, but for her I'm the 6th guy she's dating.
Here's a bit about me, I'm a shy, introverted, insecure, defident kind of a person and she's kinda the total opposite.
Coming to the reason I'm posting this,
This is gonna sound dumb and irrational
I feel we are very different people, unlike me she has A LOT of friends and she hangs out with them a lot, I don't have a problem with that, but the thing is that I don't have friends at all, and her being unavailable kinda makes me feel disregarded? Or sometimes ignored, even when we're texting each other, she'll just vanish for a few minutes and I find myself staring at the screen waiting for her. I feel like the second priority.
She has a lot of guy friends too, they're all good looking, tall and what not (my insecurities) she hangs out with them, again I don't have a problem with that, I even know a few who actually are good, but i know others just want to get in her pants. She smokes weed, gets drunk with them (I've never done any of that) and thats scary for me.
Why not just end it you may ask? To be very honest, she's a very good person and she has helped me a lot to grow as a person and she was there for me at my worst. I really love her a lot and she does too.
Then, why not talk about this? She always has been clear with communicating her problems and I have been too, I feel our communication is very good, but in this case, i prefer sweeping this under the carpet because this will make me come out as controlling which I really don't want to. Sometimes I feel she enjoys others company more than mine and I'm no one to stop her.
