I met this guy through online dating. We live long distance and haven’t met in person yet, but we’ve talked almost every day for a couple months now.
One of our topics of conversation is exercise; he regularly works out and does strength training. I don’t. He often tells me what strength routine he plans on doing. Anyways he recently asked me if I would begin an exercise regimen.
I will admit I am overweight and even have difficulties losing weight, which he is aware of. He assured me it had nothing to do with my appearance, but with being healthy and being the best version of myself I can be. So why do I feel bothered knowing he’s right? Was it okay for him to ask this of me?

He was expressing love in a To Do form. Apparently you do not want to be in a serious relationship and all it realities.
Thank you for responding, I hadn’t thought of that. Honestly, dating is still new to me. What are other examples of love in a To Do form?
Once you two meet, things will flow so much more naturally. You don’t learn negatives and positives until you meet….
He wants you to join him in working out that's sweet most guys would like to work out with other guys. He wants to be with you even at the gym and he cares about you hence why he wants you to go to the gym with him so you don't feel insecure
Of course it's okay. And you know he's right. So #JustDoIt. :)
