Ours has not burned out. We got married in 1972 at 16 and 17 (she was pregnant). Through all the ups and downs, difficult times, and times of joy, we are still in love, and there is no one else in the world I would rather be with. We even worked together for a time. Sure, there are still things above each other that drive us nuts…but we are still in love.
Should be like this for everyone
Too much time together... Yep.
It blew up in my face after 10 years together. I couldn't have my own interests, let alone have a guys night out, It created a lot of resentment over time.

I don't think love can burn you out.
What CAN burn you out is toxicity. The person you've given your heart to can burn you out mentally or emotionally if they are toxic or you both are incompatible.
There are many older couples out there who still passionately love each other. Why? Because they are doing things the 'right way'.
Love does not burn out. That's lust. When you get limerence it will die usually within a year when that dies it will reveal if you truly love them or just it was a intense lust.
If your love is strong enough, it will never burn out.
never heard about it before this.
