As the title states, My girlfriend told me why I told my friend she is my girlfriend, other than saying we are friends. I took it in a different direction & told her that i would treat her differently, & that I don’t know if we are still together because of her nonsense. Is she breaking up with me or something?

That's why I asked if your friend is a guy, does she know him, any chance she could be attracted to him. How long have you been together with her? A lot of factors go into this one.
