From what I've seen of these Karen's in America they generally have mental health issues, on Ireland we get them the help they need rather than over prescribing them medication which makes them worse.

Karen is now such a overreaching term, people on GAG here state if someone complains about poor customer service (legit poor service) they are a Karen. That you are simply suppose to just accept that you did not get what you paid for.

It is a overused term that is losing meaning because it is over used for everything.

I complain about poor service in an attempt to get it corrected and if they won't, then I have the transaction charged back off my credit card. They require I attempt to contact the vendor first in good faith before they'll do a charge back.

If I could, I'd just do the chargeback and not complain about it at all.

As for those who do stupid stuff, like say a Black person can't live here and then call the police on them, when they have a keycard and they live there, oh god help us all.

These days, yes. Karen's are FAR MORE REAL about who they are than these 20 something college age females who live by every stereotype in the book DESPITE claiming to be "open minded." I've met THOUSANDS of so called "educated" college females who express how how all black people all this/that, all homeless people act&look this way, etc. Karen's... if they don't like you as an individual, they'll just say it to your face.
