I have known one only meet and marry in 1.5 years last in 2013. That's it... all the SO Partner blew out...
My brother and his wife met and married within 2 months of knowing each other - and they've been together almost 4 years now. I think if both parties are committed to weathering the storms of life together, and committed to one another, it's going to work whether you rush a relationship or take your time with it...
I don't think there's a set answer that works for everyone. It's not a golden rule.
But if you ask me, it's about building a foundation first. Actually be friends and getting to know the person for real instead of dating the person they want you to see.
This honestly just depends but many times they don’t. Relationships move st their own pace.

I know a couple who got married within two weeks of meeting. They've been married for at least 30 years now.
I know another couple. They met through a dating site. They talked on the phone and texted for a few days. They met in person just one time when she asked if she could move in. They have been together three years now and married for almost two years.
If your relationship is based upon it continuing to make you feel good, it won't last regardless of how slow you take it.
People change including what makes them "feel good". Your either in the marriage for the security of the institution for your children or your just friends and shouldn't expect it to last any longer than any other friendship.
People with no expectations or less expectations will always cherish life and get along with everyone.
Ambitious people are never satisfied. So it’s hard for them to settle down to a person.
My grandparents were engaged two weeks after they met, married 4 weeks after that, and were together for over 50 years until he passed.
So, it does happen.
My wife and I moved in together just before our 6 month anniversary, engaged at 13 months together, married 11 months after that.
My parents got engaged after 2 months of dating, married after a year, then had 3 kids within 7 years. They have been together 30+ years now. They do last.
If u have an obsession boyfriend yes anything is possible my rushed relationship lasted 7 years
18 years and counting. Sometimes you just know from the get go.
Chuck Smith met his wife and they married six weeks later. The marriage lasted 65 years till Chuck passed away.
The ones that are rushed too quick for a condom can last up to 18 years.
