She rejected me. I stopped talking to her or following her on social media for a few days, yet I still secretly stalked her. She then acted regretful, posting stuff hinting that that was a big loss for her. But she didn't tell me directly.

What can she be doing?

Are you sure it’s regretful if she hasn’t spoken to you directly? I had a stalker last year who did that and I tried to get rid of him until I had to close social media. He had all his family looking me up and everything.
