Why would an ex wish you a happy Christmas and new year and say they’re glad they met you 5 months after a breakup that ended on amicable terms?

Sometimes, people can be nice without a reason, however, this is very rare within Relationships. We all have an angle and it may be that joy from being honest in their feelings is the motivation.

It also may be that this statement is notification that I would like to start the New Year with you anew... And of course as always, he/she could be f-in with your head...
