Do men and women think about women differently?

I know two guys that wanted to protect me even when I was clearly in the wrong. I did not understand it when I was younger but when I look back on those years - I know I was unreasonable and not deserving of sympathy and they showed a ton of sympathy when I was sad. As a woman I show sympathy to people who are fair and correct but not with people I consider unethical. I think guys have the idea that they will want to protect woman - even if she is unworthy due to having a faulty or incorrect perspective. I get angry at my dad a lot cause he defends my mother when she is in the wrong and should be resisted and opposed. If I was married to her - I would arrange a divorce within 3 minutes. I don't tolerate bad people as partners.

Somewhat, but not entirely. I've both read studies AND conducted my own survey by asking people who they'd rather have as bosses... and the majority of answers were for men. So in the workplace, most women are viewed the same by many... but not outside of the workplace necessarily. There, the views range drastically.
