I usually prefer socializing with a restaurant to socializing at home if I'm hanging out with a guy because there is more freedom and acceptance in a place where you are paying to eat and get cared for. With my female friends, I like to hang out at my house because there is more opportunity to be secretive and quiet and I don't know how short or long our get together will be so not having a timed event is easier, for both longer and shorter events.
Hell yeah, going out to dinner is like the quintessential date thing to do! The worst is going to a movie, b/c you just sit there silently unable to get to know eachother. Definitely NOT the thing to do on at LEAST the first four dates. Maybe after that. But I’d still rather go out to dinner, then maybe go dancing!
We both love ramen, so I can't count how many times we've gone and it's always been a lot of fun, lots of laughing etc. Plus it doesn't take long to eat ramen so we're not there for 1.5h (I used to be a server so this is my personal deduced average for patrons). each ramen outing is around 30 mins max.
Sometimes we go to fancy dinners with friends, but it's only ever with friends.
connecting with a loved one over a meal is always a good thing.

Not at all. I hate eating in front of people plus they expect conversation and i dont want to talk while eating
I agree with this if it's a new relationship. Even then I prefer quiet restaurants/away from prime time
@FriendlyCanadianGuy i can eat at the house lmao
Eating out is always a good time. Heh.
@SecretsofKB knows what I mean. She loves to eat out too. Mainly going out for tacos.. or burritos or many other flavors of cuisine
We're surely enjoying each other's company while we're both enjoying the ambiance, the service, the food and the beverages together.
Very much so, particularly now that we're married. We're past being worried if we won't like each other's food or there's pepper in our teeth.
it is quality time... it's not like you are so busy talking that the food becomes cold.

It is okay if we are both too tired to cook and jut what to relax a little after a long day. Otherwise I'd rather do adventures together.
I mean shuffle new stuff in from time to time but I think this is really nice
It is a good way plus I have many other ideas as well
Hell yeah, I like going out for dinner
As long as we have some level of dialogue sure.
