My sister hates a last min notice.. she’s always on a schedule but informed me about a dinner I have to attend a day before?

I told her I made plans and she’s trying to make me feel guilty. Of all people… like she’s the type who would freak out on you if you canceled plans on her because her schedule is so jammed pack. How do I say “sorry, I can’t.. I made plans.. I would love to meet the love of your life but I need to know way more in advance” sorry not sorry..

You can say "You know I've tended to be selfish and chose whatever felt best for me at the moment, without taking the feelings of others into consideration. I came to the realization I didn't like looking at the person I was choosing to be, so I've been working on replacing that pattern with one that shows consideration for others.
