I told her I made plans and she’s trying to make me feel guilty. Of all people… like she’s the type who would freak out on you if you canceled plans on her because her schedule is so jammed pack. How do I say “sorry, I can’t.. I made plans.. I would love to meet the love of your life but I need to know way more in advance” sorry not sorry..

You can say "You know I've tended to be selfish and chose whatever felt best for me at the moment, without taking the feelings of others into consideration. I came to the realization I didn't like looking at the person I was choosing to be, so I've been working on replacing that pattern with one that shows consideration for others. The transition is challenging, as I discover no one can please everyone all the time, but I'm highly motivated to make the change, viewing the bigger picture before choosing a path. I would love to meet the new love of your life, but I made previous commitments to others and want to respect those commitments. I'm sure we'll have other opportunities for me to meet your guy, and I'm looking forward to many shared experiences with both of you in the future."
Sounds like you wrote what needs to be said and she knows it already. She's your big sister, I assume?
Lol family drama! You don't want to go because of irony, but still don't have the girlie balls to tell her straight up. I bet you go anyway.
