Also as a dancer myself when your partner doesn't want to dance and you want to learn intimate dance styles you can keep a kind of proffessionalism with your dance partner. Its still only dancing and if thats what he wanted to learn it can be just fine.
If you know him you can maybe see how he sees it when you talk with him about it casually. How his dance lesson went etc. Easiest way would be to just ask if he wants you to join (if thats an option for you). Why learn partner dance if you dont want to dance with your partner?

No you shouldn't be jealous ever. Once you start the jealousy phase you can't stop and this will end your relationship. It is ok for a guy to go out and have fun especially with girls thay are fried. Guys can have girls as friends like women can have guy friends. May he he want to do dance lessons to impress you or it might be for his self-esteem. It like going to the gym. Their are women their too. Here is something to think about. We are in a new Era. Has it ever occurred to you that if he wanted to cheat on you he can easily be with a guy and you would never ever know and here you are jealous over some dance lessons. Too funny.

Well I looked up videos of this dance. The most physical contact I saw is the guy putting his hands on the girl's waist. Do you consider putting him putting his hands on another girls' waist an issue? Let's forget the dance, if he touched his female friend' waist would you see it as an issue?

As dancer i can tell you it will be fine.

It is common in bachata to switch partner (dance ones) constantly and while he will be in minority as a male lead they will be just dancing.

The other thing that can happen is that he will get permanent partner and that is a bit different thing... My example, she had boyfriend and I had girlfriend, that was respected between ourselves and, we how should I put it... developed some kind of relationship that was not either love nor intimate.

My girlfriend as dancer herself understood that there is nothing to worry about while her boyfriend was a bit jealous. So again we were close, but we were not fucking or kissing or anything, we were just really really good friends. To all of you saying a guy and girl can't be just friends, f**k you, you are wrong.

And yeah one more thing... he'll need some practice to control his willy not to jump lol.

I tried a batchata dancing for a half of a year, and I would admit that its a sign of a warning, cause this danse stimulates a pretty strong intimate attraction.

Probably, you can just talk with him and suggest attending a class together.
