Your question is kind of allover the place, but I'll try to answer it. At the stage where she becomes my wife or a friend or a F buddy. I mean just think about it logically, if she is not my wife, that means she is either my girlfriend or simply a friend. There is nothing else out there. There is a F buddy, friend, girlfriend and a wife that's it lol. And how can you tell if you officially became a girlfriend or boyfriend if you kissed and slept multiple times you are officially girlfriend and boyfriend and sure to make it official you can talking about after your bed session.

For me I guess it typ. happened when it became a relationship and we were monogamous. Sometimes talked about it but never made a big deal of it. I still call my girlfriend “girlfriend” on occasion even though she’s my fiancée. I suppose I’ll stop when she’s my wife

In my opinion, if you're in a relationship with someone you're boyfriend / girlfriend no matter the age or length of relationship. If you move in together, you can use partner or you feel you want a deeper title. If you get engaged you're fiance (e) s and if you're married you're husband and wife.

I've never had an official conversation with a girl about becoming boyfriend/girlfriend, it always has just evolved into that. I continuing using those terms until she becomes more, e. g. fiancée or wife.
