I went through my girlfriends phone while she was asleep (not because I thought she’s cheating but for another reason I wanted to see something that she told me not too) and she found out. She changed her passcode and took my Face ID off her phone. After I noticed that she did that, I change my passcode and took her Face ID off my phone. She said that was a petty thing to do, but I think it’s fair.

She told you she wrote it, she told you exactly what she wrote, and she did not want you to read it.

You did it anyway, behind her back.

Her trust is broken, so she removed your ability to violate that trust further.

If she told you NOT to go through her phone and you did anyway then you are at fault and I don’t blame her for taking your biometrics off her phone, if you did that to me you’d be well gone.
