It depends on the friend and the opinion.

If they are true, genuine, best friend then maybe.

But the opinion matters too and it's impact has to matter as well. If they don't like crush's hair, whatever. But if their opinion is that friend is a player, then you have to dig to see if there's fire behind that smoke.

There's also a question of motive, right? Is this something out of a bad Hollywood movie about teens at a high school or is this a friend seeing something hurtful to you that the flush of crush has hidden from you.

GREAT question. Nope. :) They're my crush. If I'm crushing, I have my own reasons. So, maybe I respect their opinion but whatever.

Ugly is subjective. So is beauty, hot, pretty, cute, etc. I toss that one right away.
Gross can be subjective. If it's because their feet stink, that's one thing. But if it's just because they wear jeans or Uggs or they like cats, no, it doesn't matter.
Ewww -- again, same thing.

The crush is the crush. The friends' opinions need to matter when it comes to your safety and well-being, not on their subjective analysis of your crush or their judgement of your taste.

To be honest it really doesn't matter to me. If I like a girl I talk to her obviously appropriate manner. But I really don't believe others opinions should matter if you like someone.
