Ranting and want opinions, what would you do?

hi all:) so around 2022 i was having a little friends with benefits thing but we both were only seeing each-other but on the down low, i wanted to be public but kept seeing each-other for a year because i was so emotionally attached to him and was lusting on him, but at that time i was very open about it too my best friend through out 2021/2022 and would always talk about him to her and sometimes i used to even facetime her crying and telling her what he had just done to me she would always comfort me and down talk him saying ewww you need to leave him and all this but silly me never did.

i finally got out of that toxic cycle & cut it off in jan 23 and i drifted from everyone and found a really nice boy but i found out that they actually recently hooked up at a party on the weekend and i asked her about it and she literally just said she went for a walk with him made up a story, but at the end of the day i found out everything cos he can’t keep his mouth closed, HOW DISRESPECTFUL CAN GIRLS BEEEE

Let it slide... being emotionally involved defeats the purpose of a friends with benefits... I'm surprised if you're not alpha widowed, and judging your current dude against him.

And I've run into this before. My wife talks about me too much to one of her friends and the next thing I know... her friend is trying to seduce me. Women are your worst enemy in a relationship. They'll purposely give you the shitiest advice, talk you into cheating/flirting with other men behind your man's back if you have a good man, and of course, they will try to scoop up your leftovers or steal your man before you're even done with him.

But again... it was a friends with benefits, so just let it go.
