How can someone forget other person so easily?

My brother really liked one girl. She liked him for a long time. Even her friends told me she likes him so i could push him into something. He asked her out and she said yes. They kissed few times and then finally went out. But then she turned him down. He doesn't know why. Now they say hi and dont talk more. He is really hurt. He looks like she took life away from him. I wonder how someone can forget person they liked for such a long time so easily and just like that. Are we so easy forget. I feel really sorry for him.

There is a difference between superficially liking somebody and liking them when you actually get to know them.

She might have liked him looks-wise. But may not have liked him when it came to things that usually come into play when you are trying to move forward in the relationship.

I am sure other users with actual experience will be able to pinpoint something. But I can only say this much.

Some people seek relationships for different types of reasons that are sometimes not related to love and if someone can forget about someone so easily then it's cause the love was never there, your brother will find someone else, he will be fine

I don't know what you want here. People arnt obligated to stick around just because another person likes them. Has anyone else taken her feelings into consideration?
