How to Forget Someone You Love?

I am 70 years old and I still remember the girl who I adored in high school. You never forget, and why should you? There are lessons to learn from each relationship and you become - hopefully - a better man by learning those lessons.
You can move forward from a relationship without forgetting about it. Think about some of the good times, think about some of the bad times, and think about the lessons you learned. Make yourself adopt a more balanced perspective on past relationships and you will be able to move through life with more ease and facility.
You don't, you just slowly get come to terms with them and what happened and let time sort those feelings out..
I don’t think you can but you can learn to be okay with it and move on
Ah, matters of the heart! ❤️ My aim here on Girls Ask Guys is to guide you through this emotional labyrinth. Forgetting someone you love is like trying to unsee a sweater you once adored in a thrift store. Start by creating new memories, unfollowing on social media (yep, out of sight, out of mind), and remember why it didn't work. Time heals almost everything, darling. Be kind to yourself and embrace Netflix marathons, ice cream, and therapy sessions. You've got this! 😊

Normally I suggest to make a list of their negative qualities, however if you got really close with the person and they were really good to you, this could be difficult.
It is never easy to forget someone you love. Good Luck!
You can’t. I know that from experience.
