Romantic date night meal?

I sorta recently got a pasta maker lol... and well I love making food so kitchen appliances make me super happy. But I sorta was thinking since I got it about maybe making my boyfriend a surprise meal one day. He loves pasta and I have this recipe that I recently made my family that they loved. It's lobster ravioli in a creamy vodka sauce. So I know he'd love it. I was thinking of maybe finding out a day he plans to visit me, or maybe make it on a day I know he works and surprise him with lunch. Granted I'd have to have someone drive me 45 minutes to where he lives but it'd be worth it. But would that be too much... or do you think it'd be a nice surprise

That would be cute! My girl made me a steak dinner when we first started dating and I loved her for it.
She wasn't super into cooking, so I had to help her a little bit lol, but it was still precious knowing she was trying to make me happy.
It's one of the things that made me fall in love with her.

I've always liked cooking. I know the type of food I like is different than him as far as me loving spicy food and him not so much. But I know he loves pasta and I do enjoy cooking it. And I thought the lobster ravioli might be sorta like a sexy romantic thing to make him. And if he's working when I bring it I know he'd appreciate it cause he works 12 hour shifts as a cop so he gets hungry a lot

He doesn't get to. We live separate and in different cities sadly. I was thinking of having it cooked and having someone drive me to the city he's in lol. Or when he visits here maybe making it for him. Lol I wish we lived together and I could have dinner ready for him everyday after he got off work
