Why do people initiate conversation but expect you to come up with a topic?

When you say “people” do you mean ‘women’? I’ve personally never experienced that shit with a man. Women all the time though. It’s on the long list of reasons i quit using dating apps.

Some people aren't the best at coming up with topics. It's hard to do sometimes, but I agree someone should come up with the first topics if they want to start talking.
