My boyfriend is letting his jealousy of my exes (literally only two fyi) interfere with our relationship, what do I do?

I'm afraid I'll lose him, and I really really love him. I think the problem is partially because he was a virgin when I met him. He's letting it get to him and I'm really worried.

Don't listen to anybody saying leave him... Everybody is flawed. You don't just give up on someone the first sign of trouble. Try counseling. My friends boyfriend did that. He sounded like your boyfriend but he wasn't a virgin, she was. It's just conditioning; it can be altered. Be sure to set up boundaries though. Hurt people do abuse but all he needs is a change in conditioning. Don't give up on him. Other people are speaking from their experiences. you determine your own experience. You don't have to accept things as they are because other people didn't understand how to alter conditioning and gave up on their man.

Anyone saying leave him doesn't have the answer you seek. They only know how to give up and run.

Why is it wrong for him to be insecure about that? He's inexperienced and maybe he feels that is something he can't handle. A girlfriend is supposed to make you feel better about yourself, not worse. Not saying he's right or wrong, but the others are saying he's wrong to feel that way and he's not. Maybe explain to him how you're with him and not them.

I have, and I try to be really understanding and nice about it though I get impatient sometimes. He's said that he'll try not to let it bother him, but I'm worried because it doesn't seem to be getting any better.

I kinda agree with you, 2 boyfriends is not anything big. Just because he wasn't dating, doesn't mean others weren't and he's going to end up losing a good girlfriend because of this. He probably needs to suck it up and accept it.

Hunny you can do so much better than a man that sits there and nitpicks your past. It’s only going to get worse from here by the way. I’ve been with someone like this and these kind of men become mentally abusive because they have deep seeded insecurity issues.
