As a grown adult man, would or should you care about being posted on your girlfriends or wife’s social media?

I'm a private person in real life, and I don't like putting my business out there for everyone to see. I go on trips, travel and do stuff that I don't post anywhere because I don't really see the need to do so. If she's the opposite of that, then why should we even be together?

I don't believe in this "opposites attract" bs, I think people need to compliment each other in some areas, but still have similarities in others. A fine balance is needed. If I am a private person, then I don't want my girl to post me everywhere because that's annoying and unnecessary. I don't like to be her cameraman to take pictures for her Instagram, it's very foolish and a waste of my time. I prefer someone who also doesn't care as much about putting our business on the internet because not everything has to be out on display for other folks, somethings you have to live in the moment to enjoy.

This generation especially needs to learn when to put the phone down and relax. You're only posting on social media for other people who don't know you or care about you. Let that go and worry about your own life.

I personally wouldn't mind it because if it's true then there's no shame and I do try to live according to the truth in as high a degree as possible.
Speak truth, act according to truth and be willing to admit doubt/change your mind in order to re-calibrate what is the truth.

But I would always ask anyone before posting in respect to the other. At least the first time and/or if there's anything captured that might be sensitive.
I would even ask to take the picture.

I am assuming you love him enough to want him to be secure in your relationship and feel as if you are proud of him. Guys like to be show trophy too. Either you get on board or he slowly pulls away. I don't think I could trust a woman that is trying to hide the relationship.

You need to be honest with yourself and him. You KNOW it is a problem or you would not be looking for people to justify your "It's okay not too and it is his problem". This is not the behavior of a 30 year old Adult.

As someone in law enforcement, it is my preference to be left out of other people's social media. I do not information that ties me to my loved ones should an inmate who gets released have their psycho switch pushed and decide to hunt my loved ones down. This has a very slim chance of happening, but it only takes one time and I have been tailed before.

There should be at least one picture that shows you are a couple and she should have no provocative/revealing pictures posted at all. If not, I'd leave her. She is not loyal.

Yea. When I do things with my boyfriend I rarely ever capture it on camera because I enjoy the moment and intimacy of it. So that’s why I never post pictures of us. I never understood the big deal of being posted it doesn’t mean anything, to me at least. I had an ex post me and make that same picture his profile picture on Facebook and it turns out at the time he did that he had had sex with another girl and got her pregnant. Soooo… yea lol
