What is your opinion on posting your partner on social media?

Would you post the pics of your spouse/partner on social media or would you strictly avoid it? Why/why not?

Pretty much every single friend of mine is married and they are split on this. Half of them post their partners while the other half never ever hints at being married. Personally, I do not know where I stand so, I would like to hear some views.

The same opinion regarding posting pics of myself. It's a no. Same with my civil name, same with geotags. I'm faceless and I like it.

I come from times and surroundings where privacy was strong and real pictures unused and unwanted on the internet. It was the late 90's. We all seem to have a mask and I thought it was cool. I still think it's cool to see faceless people on the internet. That's it :)

One popular guy came up with this idea of intro/extro, Jung. Jung didn't exactly wrote for the people, it was an intellectual coming up with complex stuff written for his peers. Over time, for some reason, some people borrowed the concept, simplified it, twisted it and dropped it into popular psychology. As well as popular press. Later on, social medias borrowed, actually copy pasted many infos from that same popular press. We have many people convinced that they incarnate a concept that isn't even the concept Jung talked about.

I would say no because I don't post any pictures of me on internet it's not safe so I would not post my partner pics either but if he wanted me to I would.

I don't post pictures of my partner. I never did and I preferred them not to. Sure, I won't mind him showing my picture to his loved ones and I will show his picture (won't send) if I'm very serious about him but I'll show his picture with only 1 or 2 whom I trust very much... but I won't upload his picture not on social media, not even on whatsapp. Why? Because it's scary how many crazy people, people with revenge, trolls, hackers, catfishes are in this world and people can do a lot of crazy things with people's picture. I wouldn't want my partner to be at risk because of me.
