My boyfriend spoke about his past ex?

Hi I have only recently got into a relationship so we are quite new. We are still getting to know each other in the most open and honest way. Yesterday we had a conversation with my boyfriend about our pasts. I was open slightly about my past toxic experience with my ex but I didn’t go into detail as it was not necessary, as he asked why we had broke up etc. later on in our conversation he spoke about his exs. Then he spoke about someone who he was with for 10 months years and years ago which I was ok with until he got into a lot of detail. He said be saw her on the bus and couldnt stop looking at her and he kept looking and then ended up speaking. He then went on to talk about how he went on a hunt to find her on MSN by asking people about her etc. he found her they spoke etc. but didn't work out as it was long distance. I felt a little uncomfortable as I felt like it was too much information. Maybe I am overreacting and not being logical about it but it was the detail be went into when explaining about it. I also asked if he would talk to any of his exs he said no but he wouldn't mind seeing the girl he spoke about just to see how she is getting on. Again i may be overthinking and over exaggerating but we are very new the foundation of our relationship is still being built so for me it seemed too much. Whats your thoughts and should i speak to him about it?/ how it made me feel?
