How would an American men do with women in other cultures?

My future wife moved here from China when she was 28 years old. She has had her American citizenship for many years but no one will ever remove the China from that girl, and I suspect my relationship with her is relatvely unaffected by the fact that we are surrounded with Western culture.

How do American men do in relationhips wth women from different cultures? While you are perusing YT videos, she will be listening to YT videos in Mandarin and you won't have a clue what it is about. . . but she will ALWAYS be more comfortable with her native tongue. If you have enough flexibility to handle being served scrambled eggs that contain seaweed, you can enjoy bacon and eggs with your sweetie. When you get in bed, she may do some weird exercises for a few minutes (I call it Chinese "gymnastics,") but then she will spoon with you, you wll put your arm around her, she'll whisper that she loves you, and you'll go to sleep together.

It probably depends pretty enormously; you'd do much better a Korean (well, SOUTH Korean, although someone from the North would probably be impressed by your ability to quickly and easily get food, and not have a stupid haircut) or Japanese woman than, say, an Afghan one. Familiarity with American culture that didn't bomb their country into the stone age within living memory is a big plus.

Of course, you're going to have to make some adaptations, too- but I'm guessing you knew that already.

I married chinese/American. do fine, many intermixed in my family.

I found most european women... not attractive or interesting. maybe it was the locations I was in... Europe big place. It's more about the cultures.
