You can't have a girlfriend and have strong feelings for some friend of yours which you've had since before even getting together with your girlfriend! That's fucked up. That's clearly not fair to the girlfriend. He should have a girlfriend if that's how he feels about some other significant woman in his life.

So, if you're that girlfriend... then what the fuck? You can't just be 'discontent' with that and leave it at that. That's crazy. Is there some other guy in your life you've had feelings for before and during your relationship? No shit there's not. That would be pretty messed up right?
