So, I get that, for work, it is 'the most competent candidate' (knowledge, abilities, skills, experience, motivation) - but for privatelly socialising, why would any person not prefer their own colours and genderness (e. g. straight binary heterosexual blue eyed white and entirely uninterested in any other kind/race - be it the colourblind, the disabled, blacks/Indians, LGBTs, goats, sheep, squirels etc)

Yeah, "liberals" and self-righteous can not handle common sense or Reason. Public schools, without parental disapproval, has taught kids this.

Perfectly within your rights, I would think.
It isn't like everyone is super nice and friendly towards me - some people almost instantly dislike me - so why should it be any different for blacks/Indians/LGBTs?
If you like them - your business. If you don't, also your right not to, and to avoid them/refuse them service - just as is at times done to me.
(You can also marryone or more of them and become as they are fully/have such children - but you're going to have to respect mine and anyone else's right not to want any of that for ourselves).
