How to tell my friend that I just want to stay home?

So, my friend visited me every weekend just to party with me.

I am not a big party animal though, have never went to so many clubs before my break up, I used to have fun different ways.

But these days I go out with my friend and have fun. Today she told me she was going to another city for shooting, so I bought some books and figured I’d have a cozy evening, would read books and watch a movie after work.

But she changed her mind and wants to party again and when she heard I don’t want the same, she felt like maybe she is disturbing me by being at my home. She isn’t, I love being with her. But I just wanted a cozy day to relax after working and just to recharge my energy.

If I stay home she stays home as well hahah, so there’s either we go or we stay.

Either way I won’t have my “me time”. I just wonder how can’t we take at least one weekend off. Lol, how can you party every week 3 days, when you work literally everyday. I work everyday, these days I started sleeping earlier and everyone has been telling me I look beautiful, that’s because I get enough sleep.

Now, no books, no time, no sleep. I am a bit annoyed.

It's not apart of your conditioning to tell her, for whatever reason. And doing so causes dissonance between your conscious and subconscious. However, if you just go ahead and do it anyway it will alter your conditioning a bit so that the next time is a little easier. @lafemmefatale_1

Because she will stay home as well, and I don’t want to be the reason of her doing something she doesn’t want to do.

Also, I already told her and we stayed home on two occasions.

Plus if I stay home, she stays as well. That means my me time will still be lost.

It’s just in my nature, I dislike saying no. I like making people feel good. That’s something I need to work on.

I say no to creeps and all but even then I do so in a nice way.

That's a great thing, nothing is wrong with you. Being nice is the best thing you can do for yourself. However, just understand it's your conditioning. It's your habitual neural connections driving your behavior. It can certainly cross over into low self-image. You may not be thinking that but that is how we certainly can describe the neural patterning.
