"Is it worth to have a challenge?" what would you tell your kid?

Picture it, you're doing whatever while your partner is doing whatever. Your kid comes to you and is upset that they failed again at a thing. You tell them that failing is what makes the challenge fun. You explain to them that you failed a lot to get where you are and once you did, you finally felt good about it. So they ask you the question above. You don't know what to say, knowing having a challenge is fun but also tough. So... is it worth for the thing to not be too easy?

way more often than not... you learn a whole lot more from a challenging defeat... than you do with an easy win... personally... I never had any fun with with an easy game on any sport

I dont find challenges “fun” so i’d tell them about the mtv show The Challenge and how people on there keep at it til they win a bunch of money. I’d tell the kid i can reward them with money for every task they succeed at 🤣
