Me and one of my closest guy friends have had a rocky friendship. There was a period where we were romantically involved, and I wanted a relationship and he didn’t because he said he wasn’t ready for a relationship, and so we were apart for months. We’re back as friends again and I can’t get rid of this nagging thought in the back of my head: what if he starts dating someone soon? and the idea of it makes me upset. I don’t think I still have feelings, but if he were to get into a relationship I feel like I won’t see him as much.
Any advice on how to manage this?

When you flirt with someone, you don't know what will happen to that person, break up again and again, even if there has been peace, it already means that the relationship line is broken, it may upset you to think that a person will flirt with someone else in later life, I understand it well, but you have no choice but to accept it, otherwise you'll stay stuck there, you can't look at your life, you can't move forward
It can happen
yeah I know it could. I’m looking for an answer to the final question
It’s possible. But you want him to be happy if you’re still friends. What’s meant to be will happen. Hopefully you remain friends.
