What issues have presented themselves within your relationships that were clear signs of father issues?

This question is for men only at this stage.

They have low confidence

They have deep seated fear of abandonment

They struggle to create a life outside of the relationship

They put you on a proverbial pedestal

They invest their whole being into the relationship and place their personal worth value on how the relationship develops and is maintained.

I voted for that deep-seated fear of abandoment. I'm specifically talking about the American women here... they have some issues with that stuff that I've never experienced in other countries. And it's caused the most problems in my opinion.

It's connected to such a vast array of problematic behaviors. You might get overly needy to overly independent and you it because they can't stfu about it. It's like a act or a show... hard to explain what I'm talking about here. You know that teenage boy that can't stfu about how much of a gangsta he is... it's like that except it's a fucking woman either talking about how she don't need no man or about how worthless she is. A vast array of what you might get, but if you dig it all goes back to Daddy for some reason. Like I think I notice it the most with Americans because you fuckers have a lot of parents that just split up for any reason they can come up with.

As far back as adult women remember, they were always able to run to daddy for reassurance, protection, stability and validation.


Some that may have grown up without or a father that didn’t pay them any attention, do so for the same reasons I listed above.


If they were diddled by daddy, they will have major trust issues around men. Or will be hyper sexual with men thinking that is the only way to love.

I suppose the first one I ran into was her frequently wanting to have sex in her parents bed. Often paired with being upset with her dad.

Most common one I encounter is likely hostility towards or insecurity around men. Or shitty taste in us.

I won't say I completely understand the psychology of it, but what I will say is that I will not seriously date a woman who didn't have a good father in her life growing up, has a good relationship with him and her parents are still happily married. I have seen more than enough examples of women whose attitudes toward men and relationships are very unhealthy because they grew up without a good father.
