There is a type of woman that does that... not women in general though. The type of woman that does it judges herself off of her friends. So basically she will see her friend with a boyfriend that does a thing... now all of a sudden you should do the thing too, simply because she doesn't want to be less than her friend.

That's women for you though. Imagine a bunch of dudes sitting in a room talking about what our girls do for us that makes us feel special. Does that sound retarded? it should because we're not women. But I think it's important we understand why they go from that to nagging us about not texting back at a certain time.

If you recognize that female shit and can call it out and make fun of it... it's less likely to drive you crazy. I mean, I'm not Cindy's boyfriend first of all. I have hobbies and better things to do... so if you want me to be like Cindy's boyfriend, get a fucking job and let me roll around in the bed all morning with nothing better to do than text your ass since I have nothing better to do!

I digressed into managing a woman trying to change a guy, but the bottom line is yes... a particular type of woman is going to try and change you. She might try to change you into something she doesn't even really want.

On fucking point... I sort of mentioned this in my answer (second to the last sentence), but hell yeah... they won't even like what they get after they get it. I would go further and say the only reason they wanted that particular change was because some other woman had that from her man.

I would only change him in ways that would heal his pain and disappointment or help him make happier choices in life. Like I might tell him to cut out junk food, choose golfing over gambling on the weekends, or avoid arguing with a bully who might sabotage his life etc.,

I've seen many men who marry woman who say they don't want children and try to manipulate them into having kids.
I've seen many women who try to get a guy to change his interests or lifestyle to something she considers suitable.

Generally, they choose a guy who is "exciting" in the beginning and figure as time goes on he'll settle down and not be what excited them as their relationship grows deeper. They usually fail.
