So long story short as soon as I met this man 5 years ago we just clicked. We have always gotten on great, good banter and he was always really kind, nice and funny.
A little over a year ago he became single and that’s when I started to have feelings for him as our friendship turned a bit more flirty. He started texting me, messaging me all the time on Instagram, liked all my photos, giving me compliments on my looks, outfits. He was extremely touchy feely and I’ve never felt ‘chemistry’ with someone like this EVER. Like I wish I could just jump on him.
Anyway nothing ever happened. He is 20 years older than me which confused me as I’ve never been into older men until him. I never thought he’d even think of me that way so I kept my feelings to myself and now I can’t bare it as I still feel the same about him after nearly 2 years.
He recently got back with his ex from years ago and they suddenly got engaged. She left him years ago because he didn’t want to get married.
Since his engagement 3 months ago our friendship is not the same. He barely talks to me anymore unless it’s about work or his fiance and has even deleted me from his social media.
He will randomly come up to me and start telling me his weekend plans with his fiance and talks about their wedding plans and how they are getting married soon and it’s killing me.
She is in the process of moving in with him so he has also now started asking me for lifts to her place as I live near her and she uses his car now….
He tells me all these things and I just sit there smiling and nodding like a clown and it’s torture. How can I get over him without being an asshole and ignoring him?

First off ignoring him is not being and a**hole. Secondly, you only have yourself to blame here. You didn't make a move on him and some other woman got him. Learn from this mistake and don't repeat it next time.
Yeah I know, like I said I was confused about my feelings as he’s a lot older than me and thought he was maybe just being nice.

Maybe put some effort next time and don't just expect everything to fall in your lap. You could have a simple discussion with him to find out of he was interested and express yours. Especially with the workplace environment being so treacherous now most guys aren't going to make a move.
