I’ve started to have feelings for a man who’s 19 years older than me.
I’ve never had feelings for anyone that age or even been with anyone more than 5+ years older than me. But with him my whole perspective has changed.
I worked closely with him for 3 years but I moved to a different department a year ago so although we still work for the same company we are in completely different departments now so I don’t see him as often as I used to.
When we worked together it was very professional and I thought nothing of him rather than a man at work.
But now my feelings for him have came out of nowhere and I’ve never felt so confused.
Since around March we have both been extremely flirty with each other. It was him who started being very chatty and flirty suddenly and it grew from there. The rare times we actually see each other at work I keep catching his eyes staring at me. We text outside of work now and he started following me on all my social media. I don’t know what to do as I was hoping after a few months I would stop having this small crush on him but he’s all I think about.
We had one awkward conversation a few weeks ago when I was walking past his office he came running out and yelled my name to get my attention and told me I looked very sexy.
I went bright red under my mask because I wasn’t expecting him to say stuff like that to me. And he got embarrassed and changed the subject to the WeATHER?
We haven’t spoke since then.
I’m a nervous wreck around him and I’ve never felt like this. What should I do?
