When a couple decides to move in together, which is best: moving into the other lover's home or finding a place that both of them want?

Depends on how you look at it. If there is an apartment with roommate (s) then yes find a new place of your own. But if he has a townhome or house or single apartment and it would work with some of your things then I see nothing wrong with moving into his place. I currently have a roommate so we would have to find one unless he lives alone.

That depends on the individual couple and their homes.

Usually i would expect them findin a new home, as they require more space than a home for singles can provide, as well as watch out for commute to work

I think there's many factors deciding that. Money, the place itself, age, etc. 20 year olds do what is cheaper. Older people think differently

I think they should move to the most convenient location possible to make sure they have plenty of time for intimacy and closeness.
