Relationship is taking responsibility of the other person. When you decide to be related to another human, you two now have relation, their problems will be yours, your problems will be theirs. You two have to think of ways to handle problems in life together.
Sex and happiness are rewards for that. If someone enters into relationship only for happiness then it will collapse easily because no couple is happy all the time. If someone doesn’t want to deal with the other person’s problems, then don’t enter into a relationship. Relationships aren’t for fun 100%.

well said! unfortunately a lot of people think your last statement should be reversed as you can see from that video I found. hell they dont even know its between 2 people they think they're entitled to have backup

Apparently they date for fun. They don’t want relationship. They aren’t with them because they love them but they just want to please themselves, physically or emotionally.
I think it’s somehow the problem of this society. Movies, dramas, songs are all about passionate love, those entertainments teach us that men having more women are the alpha man, and women having more men chasing after them are goddess.
They just normalise this idea.
It’s the society that is to blame, how many movies or songs that teach us relationships should be of love and relationship is hard work and care, most just tell us it’s fun and no hardship, when you’re in love, you’re in paradise.
